Hi! I’ve decided to create a website based on videogames I loved growing up that helped shape my creativity and hobbies. When I was deciding what to do for my site I had a lot of trouble focusing on one thing but ultimately chose to do something fun that I really enjoy. Even today I still play video games..but I do wish I had more time for them inbetween school >:/. Below I have colors I will be using to map out and brighten my website. These colors are inspired by my love for using saturated pinks in my artworks.
A less saturated pink with the color code #FE97AC. This color reflects the pinks contained in the games I show, along with the referencing the feeling growing up with “girl games”.
A light green with the color code #CAEBD. This will be my accent color. This color also matches the light aesthetic and feel that some of the games I talk about contain!
A more saturated pink with the color code #F45C82. While this pink is different from the first, it complements the previous one. It also highlights the empowerment and excitement many girls felt growing up with these genre of games.
*** Note*** Many of the images that I will be using on this website are sourced from Pinterest and Google. I plan to credit each artist once I find their information!
